FAQ
What is a cohort?
A cohort, in this context, is a group of people who have agreed to dive deeply into the Enneagram together for one year. We will meet in-person four times throughout the year, and will form relationships that will hopefully last much longer than that!
There is something for everybody in a cohort - if you are an information person, come and learn! If you are a relationship person, come and connect! If you're both, we would love to have you! There is no wrong way to be part of a cohort, as long as everyone is kind and respectful to each other. This particular cohort will be quite theory heavy, so come prepared to learn a lot about yourselves and others.
When will we meet?
All meetings will take place on Friday/Saturday. The dates for the 2027 cohort are as follows: January 29-30, April 16-17, September 24-25, and November 12-13. Teaching starts at 9am each day and ends at 5pm. There will be an hour each day for lunch, during which you are encouraged to grab a few cohort mates and discuss what we've done so far that day.
What is the cost to join the cohort?
Tuition is $1800. An $600 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space, and the other $1200 is due the week of the first cohort meeting. You will receive emailed invoices from Katie that are payable by credit, debit, or direct bank transfer. You may also pay through Venmo.
Payment plans are available - please contact Katie at katie@9fold.life with any questions you have about payment.
Who gets to join?
Applicants are accepted based on many factors, the most important being the creation of a balanced cohort. We want people of every number, age, race, and gender in our cohort in order to provide the most diverse and well-rounded Enneagram education we can.
How much Enneagram do I need to know?
You must be confident of your Enneagram number - although it is common to join a cohort and find out that you may have mistyped! We hit the ground running and it will be very confusing if you don't already know your number.
Deep Enneagram theory knowledge is not required (that's what we'll teach you), but a basic knowledge of all nine numbers and their core motivations will serve you well.
When will I be notified about whether or not I made it into the cohort?
Final round applicants will be asked by October 1st to schedule an interview with Katie, and final decisions will be sent out on November 1st.
Where is the cohort held?
The cohort is held at the Mercantile Library in downtown Cincinnati (414 Walnut St #1100, Cincinnati, OH 45202). The Library itself is on the 11th floor of the building.
I've never been to Cincinnati and have questions about where to stay, where to eat, and parking. What should I do?
If you are accepted into the cohort, you will receive a welcome packet in your acceptance email that will explain all of these details!
What other costs should I expect?
Travel and accommodation are not covered by the tuition cost, so you should factor that into your decision to apply. You will also need to cover the cost of your meals, including breakfast if your hotel does not offer a free buffet.
I was accepted into the program, but now I can't come. What should I do?
The $600 deposit that you paid is non-refundable. Please contact Katie at katie@9fold.life to update her and she will help you get the rest of it figured out!
I have a question that isn't answered here, who can I talk to?
Please send any further questions to Katie at katie@9fold.life
